It isn’t impossible for me to make a living doing what I love the most because what I love the most is serving others. In fact, there are various opportunities within our everyday occupations to serve others. However, I am particularly passionate about feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, and providing shelter for the homeless. If I had unlimited resources and time to spend doing whatever I wish to do, I would likely end up on the streets inviting the hungry out to eat or perhaps I’d find myself in third world countries making sure that those looked over in humanity are cared for. I hardly need to mention how all of this would change the world. I believe that all people are connected in some way, so even just one added smile to our world impacts it greatly. Since I do not have unlimited resources and time to spend doing whatever I wish to do, I will have to continue working with what I have in order to keep my passion a reality. When I have the resources to do so, I will continue to give food to the hungry as I see them. I will also continue to support charities and organizations that take care of the needy. Perhaps one day I will even be able to start up my own ministry idea of turning abandon buildings within communities into homeless shelters or soup kitchens for the needy. Until then, I’ll plan to encourage people to serve others.
