If I could earn a living doing something I love doing, I would be an engineer. The reasoning behind this, is that I would have the opportunity to work with others in the same or different fields of study, in order to solve a problem. Even if the project was on a smaller scale, there is always the chance that it could lead to some sort of insight that solves another much larger project. My current goal in order to obtain this career would be to graduate from Arizona State University with at least a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. While I am undecided on whether pursing a Masters is something I want to do in the future, I will ultimately decide during my time at ASU. In order help achieve this larger goal, I will need to be involved around ASU. Some of the ways I plan to be involved are to join some organizations or clubs, to apply for summer internship programs, and to see if there is a way I can participate in some undergraduate research projects. The organization and clubs do not necessarily have to be related to my field of study, but it will help me make connections with other students on campus. The summer internship and undergraduate research projects will give me some experience in the field that I am pursuing.
