All my life; I’m not entirely sure why but I’ve always heard sounds in my head. Different beat sequences; sometimes orchestral, sometimes digital, others harmonies and melodies, until I turned 17 years old and it all made sense. Without even realizing it, I saw the future of music as it is today. I could never figure out why I loved music so much as a child. Always memorizing every song on the radio, singing in the shower, and creating mashup’s of top listing hits in my mind when no one was watching. As the Yelawolf song “Animal”played on Soundcloud, I could finally feel my purpose in life: To create and make music. Always having the dedication to bring a creative element to everything my hands touch, I picked up being a DJ. Creating mixes for my friends, allowing others to request their favorite songs be mixed together with my creative element of piecing sounds together, is nothing short of the life I want to live. I want to make a mix for the world! One that we all could dance to for just a second, together, and to just forget what we hate. And realize what we love, which is being together and enjoying the best of what life has to offer. I want more youth to be exposed to music, growing up I was told music could not make you a living unless you are born into the industry; or had the money to get your music out there. I plan to prove them wrong, and show them the power of my creativity.
