Our world grows more technologically advanced, yet we do not understand why the technology works. The laws of physics help us understand this by telling us why Solitaire appears on our monitor and how lights turn on in an instant. Mathematics is essential to being able to understand all of these situations as well. Being a physicist and mathematician is my dream since physics and mathematics are so interesting.
Classes in college are tough, so I plan to study some every night to avoid “cramming” the night before exams. My goal is to actually understand the material so it helps me in the future, not just to get A’s! I will accomplish this by taking detailed notes, drawing diagrams, doing my assignments (Yes, I’m one of those students!), and making study guides. A physicist needs to help others understand the concepts of physics, and the techniques above will start me off with this.
I also plan on getting an internship with NASA, as Outer Space has always been an interest of mine. Getting an internship would give me experience that is crucial to acquiring a job after college. Since there is still much we do not know about space, there is a big possibility that I could find out something that could change everyone’s view of the universe.
Physics and mathematics are interesting subjects with many theories. Each theory helps us understand the world, and uncovering more of them can lead to a different view of the universe!
