Sports is an area in which at most times, seems simply recreational and some people think that the field of sports is not good for anything more than a hobby. I say otherwise. I have seen the lives of people change drastically for the better when they get involved in sports. It keeps students safe and off of the streets and I believe that, if more students were involved with sports, society would be drastically different.
The statements above are the reasons why I want to enter the field of Sports Management. With the broad spectrum of different careers, I will be able to touch student’s lives and give them something more to work towards than street activity and keep their lives healthy and safe.
The field of Sports Management will enable me to touch students lives in the area that they love most, which is to simply play and have fun. When I can get involved, I will be able to support these students in perhaps is the most pivotal moment in their school careers when they are deciding who they are and what their future will hold. If I can even play a small part in these students lives, it would make my life complete. My goals are to become a person that can touch peoples lives by being no more than absolutely ordinary.
