We live in a society today that’s deprived of a fitting caption. Some call it helpful while others blame society for not being able to fit in or cope with the everyday demands of life. In June I earned my diploma in the trade of culinary arts and although I cooked for a lot of people there were still millions of men, woman, and children who starved around the world day in and day out. Society will strive to end world hunger but then, turn right around and tell you ending world hunger is impossible. My dream job is to open a chain of charity restaurants around the world, that serve free food 7 days out of the week. I wouldnt just set up the resturants in the poor cities but everywhere becuase in every city theres someone trying to overcome starvation. I’d ask for assistance from local food banks and resturants to help donate food to my establishments. I’d employ teens seeking community service hours and leaders of the community who would finally have a vital way to contribute and give back. As i ride through my city I see countless signs, held by homeless people that read ” will work for food and shelter”. And i think to myself “who I am to pretend that I don’t see their needs”. Some people might argue that this task is simply impossible but if society fears the impossible as a society we won’t accomplish much.
