It is my goal to obtain a Masters Degree in Theology and to become an Ordained Christian Minister. My life’s desire is to help people suffering from addiction and to bring them closer to Christ.
In today’s hectic world many people do not know how to successfully cope with the stressors of everyday life. The world abounds with negative things to think about, yet does not offer much help with how to develop healthy coping skills. Many a poor soul turns to alcohol, drugs or obsessive thinking to help them get through the day. This can cause people to become weary and discouraged; and to often give up. I wish to help people see that a conscious contact with God, as one understands him can provide a spiritual well-being that can heal the soul.
With the help of God I have miraculously overcome alcoholism. I will not be defeated by wrong choices I have made in the past; and I will not let past decisions define who I am in the present. I am 41 years old and now wish to change my life; to see how my experience can benefit others.
At The King’s University in Modesto, California I will first complete an Associate of Christian Ministries which I will 2 years later convert into a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies. I will participate in ministry and work with addicts during the entire course of my studies. It will take me 2 more years to complete A Master’s degree in Practical Theology and 3 more to obtain “The Master of Divinity.” I know that offering help to others who suffer will complete my life as well as make our world a better place.
