If I could make a living doing what I love the most, I would be a professional volunteer and mentor. Over the past few years, I have been involved in various organizations where I have acted as a mentor to kids who have been dealt a less than fortunate life. In my experiences and times with these kids, I have realized that I am blessed to have what I have in my life and that I should bless others by giving back. I recognize that I have been granted opportunities in my lifetime that not everyone is presented with. I take full advantage of these opportunities and have worked hard to get where I am with them. One of my lifetime goals is to be able to present opportunities to kids who have been robbed of them and coach them so they can make the best of them as well. I wish to equip the youth of the world with personal skills and resources to enable them to be successful on their own and hopefully pull them out of the unfortunate life they have been born into. I have been working towards this goal by becoming a mentor of the Children’s Home & Aid Organization where I have been mentoring foster children. It is a small-scale step towards my goal. I wish to grow my efforts in the future in the form of a non-for-profit organization aimed at the personal growth of foster and at risk children.
