Throughout my life as far back as I can remember I have always been a curious person. I have always asked the question of “how” things work rather than “why” things are. This has propelled me into the field of science. In particular for the past several years I have strived to become a microbiologist. As a microbiologist I would research the complex workings of the small universes around each and everyone of us. With the knowledge and understanding that I will obtain about the microscopic I will make break throughs in medicine and the academic fields. I have begun this journey by starting my degree in general biology, and I have worked towards learning about research by completing a summer research term in michigan researching rhizobia.
