If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, it would involve educating people about the importance of proper care for animals. I love animals, from cats and dogs to cows and horses, and I also love helping them when they are in need. By working at a Veterinary Practice, I would be able to encounter many individuals each day and inform them about how to take better care of their pets and help change the world into an even more pet friendly place. First, I will finish my schooling at YTI Career Institute in York so I can become a certified Veterinary Technician. From there, I will search for jobs around the area where I live and hopefully where there is an animal shelter nearby. If possible, I would like to create brochures on how to take care of specific animals and what to do in certain situations that I can set out for free at my workplace and animal shelters. This way, first time pet owners and experienced pet owners will both have better knowledge when taking care of their pets. I believe that the first step to change is through education and hopefully I will be able to make an impact in my community, if not the world.
