Psychology always played an important role in my career choices ever since I realized exactly what it encompassed and how society uses it daily. A variety of paths open themselves up to one who possesses the courage to dive into this field of study ranging from the youngest of toddlers to the elderly.
Honestly, the younger generations come to mind first as the group of individuals which hold the most potential in not only lessening the problems but also possibly ridding the individual of the ailment. Yes, the potential to help the older individuals with their problems also lingers on my mind but I still find myself wanting to fix the problems from the beginning or very near to it than at a later point in life where the individual uses this as either a crutch or a possible excuse for their current actions. The belief lies within the hope associated with the curing of the problem while it remains in the earliest of stages before the individual becomes tainted with possible psychoses that may prove to be harmful to society. An example of this might involve a child which has witnessed or been the burden holder of beatings or abuse and then continues the cycle as they grow into adulthood either upon their significant other, parents or children.
Basically, my goal is to stop the problems before they start in order to help society flourish into a peaceful habitation rather than a harmful pool of doubt and betrayal.
