The career path I have chosen for myself is to become a very successful psychiatrist. With my knowledge and practice in the field of psychology, I will be able to make the world a better place by helping those who cannot help themselves. People who have issues with controlling the voices in the head telling them lies, or telling them to do things they normally wouldn’t do, they need help. Help that I will be able to provide after years of college and medical school. I would start off with graduating Oregon State with my Pre Med degree, then I would transfer to a more accredited medical school to work on my PhD in Psychiatry. After that, I would do an internship through a prison or jail system until I figured I had learned enough to join a practice made by a similar psychiatrist, or create and continue my own private practice. I will devote myself to my patient’s well being and working to make them better. This is a dream I’ve had for as long as I can remember, and I intend on seeing it through till the end. Because of me, I hope the world can become a much better place and that those who seek much needed help with their mental illnesses can receive it because of me and possibly my co workers in the same practice as me.
