As I attend Merrimack College this fall, I will be double majoring in Psychology and Criminology. This area of study has interested me for as long as I remember, and even more so when I began to take classes related to it in high school. I plan to join many different clubs at college, as well as participate in internships related to my field of study. I will be taking many different classes that will positively expand my horizons and learning outside of my area of study. My career goal is to join law enforcement, preferably the Federal Bureau of Investigation, as a forensic psychologist. I would love to be able to discover how and why criminals think and act the way that they do. When in law enforcement, I want to help put away criminals in order to prevent more people from getting hurt, from more crimes to happen. The thought of being able to earn a living by participating in law enforcement, catching criminals and protecting the public excites me tremendously. In my years to come studying at college, I will work extremely hard in order for this goal to come true.
