If I could earn a living doing something that I loved most it would be researching medical cures for certain diseases, allergies, or deficiencies. I feel that the world we live in is continuing to develop more and more each year, and with certain advancements I would be able to develop cures for certain diseases such as cancer. I have very personal experiences with the horrible disease cancer, not to where I have physically suffered from it, but I have felt the emotional tolls it takes on a family when a loved one suffers from it. About two years ago, I had lost a cousin to bone cancer and it greatly affected my life. I know now that life should never be taken for granted, and I also know that if there were a cure for the dreaded disease so many lives would be saved from something so horrible. That is why I would use my career as a scientist to research many different types of cures, or even a healthier treatment for it as well. I believe by doing so, I would be able add a good amount of effort to the research already taking place in the world. One goal that I have to set for myself is the one to always persevere; I know that if I do not give up, I can change the lives of many people, old and young.
