Arthur Ashe, Tennis Champion, once said, “From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.” I welcome everyone with open arms, whether they have done wrong to me in the past or not. I give people whatever they ask for; nothing illegal or life threatening. I also give God my first tenth of my increase with a giving spirit. I do not ask for anything in return, or a reward. It is simply in my heart and nature to give until I cannot give anymore.
More generosity in a person’s heart will make the world a better place. For example, crime and violence today is a big issue in society. People, young and old, are dying for no reason; they are innocent. A goal to reach this giving movement is paying it forward. When someone does something nice towards you, do not question it. Happily give or do something nice onto your neighbor, and do not look for a “thank you” or reward. According to Madeline Bridges, “Give the world the best you have and it will come back to you.”
