As a doctor I would be doing the two things that have ever preoccupied my mind: completing my dream of becoming a doctor through perseverance and a rigorous work ethic, and more importantly actually helping others. The world in my opinion would become better through the attention I give my patients.
Through trials and commitment I would achieve my goal. The first trials I face include: college and medical school. College will begin to teach me about the world and how my thinking should reflect a greater good for all not just those within my reach. Medical school introduces and finalizes to me everything that the body does in order to become a competent doctor; my thoughts and feelings are what will teach me to be a compassionate doctor. The next incoming trials include: trying to get admittance to a hospital and working my way to becoming an internist.
After becoming an internist my next goal is to make sure I successfully treat my patients. Once I finish performing my treatments on my patients they would go out and perform their tasks. As I continue treating them I feel like I am doing my part with the world’s problems, by not abandoning those in need.
