If you could earn a living doing what you love most, what would it be, and how would it change the world?
If I could earn a living doing what I love the most I would become a paralegal in a firm that focuses on family law and perhaps I may pursue becoming a lawyer.
Why Family Law? It’s simple, I have notice that in many cases of child custody whether parents are married or not that there is no parental equality. In most cases courts sides with the mother of the child. I have personally witness good fathers struggle to see their child. Some may only see their child once or twice and month. I want to change that, I want parental equality.
A child needs both parents in their lives. If both parents are fit and capable to raise their child then all differences should be put aside so that both parents can spend equal time with their child. Unless there is an unfit parent or any other major reason I don’t see why a court should only choose one side making either parent suffer where in the end the child suffers the most.
I want to be in the team that gets things done right the first time and in the end we all win. A happy child equals happy parents. One city, one state at a time, with parental equality the world can be a better place and that is how I would change the world.
