To be successful in life is everyone’s goal. In my eyes, part of success would be to make a living doing what I’m most passionate about. For me, that’s helping people. Now I realize that that sounds really broad. There are so many different ways to help people. From the medical field to the field of education, there are ranges of ways to assist and nurture those who need help. However, my goal is to help people conquer the problems and issues in their thought life with mental healing. I believe that changing the world begins with those individuals who possess strong minds. Therefore, it’s my goal to nurture people to good mental health. This wasn’t always what I had in mind but one day I realized that it was innate for me and I knew that I had to make a plan to be able to achieve that goal.
Specifically, I’d like to obtain my doctorates degree and become a therapist. The journey to reaching that goal is going to be long. It takes at least eight years of school to be able to earn that title. But I’ve taken that first step by completing my first year and earning a spot on the Dean’s List. As I prepare to return to school for my second year, I expect to do even better academically than I did my first year. Though it is only the beginning, I’m going to put in one hundred percent effort from beginning to end.
