If I could earn a living doing what I love it would be Computer Engineering. I know that everything is technology based; however, everyone is not. I would like to take what I learn from my education to help the community. When I started school I had no support system. I am a single Mother who was constantly told, why are you going back to school, you are not going to make it, and the one I heard the most was you should just get another job and work. My response was I am going back to school because I want more than a job, I want a career. I want to wake up every morning knowing that I am getting up to do something that I love and want to do in life, not something that I have to do. I also want to show my daughter that getting an education is the most important accomplishment in life and that once you have a degree no one can take that away from you.
I want individuals everywhere to know how to access their own personal records. I want people to feel comfortable enough knowing that when their computer breaks down, they will not go broke trying to pay for repairs. There are plenty of older people who can only manage their bills by going out and interacting with another person, who they have to give all of their information to,I would also like to teach basic computer use those individuals who are not so computer literate.
