Being 23, a child of divorce, with a single mom for the majority of my life, and my mom getting breast cancer in 2009, I wondered could life get any worse? I was so afraid of losing the one and only best friend I have ever had in my entire lifetime. Thankfully we got through it together I knew no matter what, nothing could be worse than almost losing your mom and best friend. I decided I wanted to make a difference and the only way to do that was to go to school and get an education. I have since graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with an AA in Interior Design and now have been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona and will be pursuing my BA in Business with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate and Law by end of the year 2016. I want my mom to have an easier life and her be taken care of for once, retiring early. As for myself having a healthy career ideally in film or TV set production is my dream. I also want to get my real estate license by the time I graduate. The next steps I want to take to pursue the career I want is to finish my Business degree within the next two years, get a part time job in the entertainment industry or an internship and get involved in the schools theater department t to see how stages run daily.
