If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would have to be setting up an outreach program for anyone who has ever been through the foster care system or come from an unprivileged background. This outreach program would be in place to offer opportunities that most people lack due to their circumstances. The reason this would mean so much to me is because I come from both the foster care system and an unprivileged background and know firsthand how hard it was for me to reach my goals. I also understand the importance of having a strong support system in place. Having such a program can lighten their load and give them hope for a better future while also showing them the correct avenues to reach their full potential. These avenues include mental health, work/school readiness, management courses and other helpful resources. Since I believe in lifting while I climb, I feel like it is my duty to help such people who have been faced with different types of adversities. The reason why this outreach program can be so beneficial not only to the recipients but also the world at hand is because these people will be better equipped for success. This means having more people successfully completing college and starting in a career while they can flourish. I am the first in my family to obtain a college degree even through all my adversities and because of this I want to help others see that they can do the same.
