As a child, I’ve always enjoyed seeing people smile and happy. Those pretty smiles and happy faces would be followed by sick and unhappy people. Growing up in a low income family of six, my parents made it work just enough to keep the lights on and food on the table. We were fortunate enough not to be burden with ridiculous medical bill due to our relatively good health. If we were to get sick it wouldn’t be severe enough to require serious and expensive attention. Growing up I noticed children and adults who were not so fortunate to have the health and proper care I was given. Whether it was on the streets of the over populated town or the “Save the Children” commercials that would show up on the TV. screen. It was always demoralizing to see such inhumane features. So if I could earn a living doing what I love the most, it would involve traveling around the world to places that have a dire need for healthcare and providing it. With my goal to attend and graduate medical school in the near future, that objective will take a step closer to tend to. Seek a sponsor will be major goal and hurdle to overcome. Obviously, I alone could do little individually to significantly change this dilemma. So I would hope to motivate and convince thousands of other trained professionals to join me. And with all seriousness, make the world a healthier and happy place.
