My dream since I was a little kid was to be the guitarist in a take-over-the-world successful rock band. I’ve shared the stage with a wide range of talented musicians in my short 18 years, but I already know it’s what I was born to do. One of my methods to get my name out there that has been relatively successful was through YouTube. It’s relevant to this website because I started out by posting tutorials on how to play songs by many different rock bands, and in just three years I’ve accumulated close to 1.2 million views doing it. The beauty of YouTube is you upload one video, and endless amounts of kids can watch it over and over until they learn what they came to learn. It’s a beautiful thing, but I also enjoy the dynamics of being able to sit down with a kid one on one and show them all of the small little nuances of a song. Taking lessons was something I did and am now able to give, and it’s a wonderful thing to know that you’ve helped somebody achieve something that means a lot to them.
