My dream job is an Occupational Therapist. I have many goals for going to school, mainly it is to complete work to push me towards my profession. My professional goals include becoming a mentor and an Occupational Therapist working with young children in a developmental center, school, or pediatric hospital. Helping others learn to live with their occupational disabilities is one way I will be able to make a difference in someone’s life. I have had the opportunities to watch people going through therapy and it makes me happy to see how they are regaining skills that they once had lost.
I want to be able to work with children and adults and offer free services to them to help them get the therapy they need. I want to start working at the local level and hope someday to be able to work on an international level. By starting small I have the opportunity to make my community a better place. I can then use the support of my community to help make other communities better. I want to make sure that I can make just one person’s life a little better.
