It is easy to talk, and it’s easy to listen- but it is not easy living. Throughout my life my mom has been the so inspiring to me. Her selfless demeanor and her ambitious voice is what gives me hope when the going gets tough and believe me it does. In my eyes, my mom has always had a tough life. Believe me, she is a go-getter, but for some reason she cannot get ahead, in-fact, it is when she walks one step forward, she steps two steps back. There is no one I love more than the woman who gave birth to me and winning this scholarship would not only put a smile on my mothers’ endearing face- but it would help me to finish my pre-medical career so that one day I can be the doctor that gives my mom her transplant. Cardiovascular care is in need and I truly believe that I could be a cardiovascular surgeon. Of course, it will not be easy—my mom has always said that, but, if it does not come easy—guaranteed it is worth having. Pursuing my career in the medical field would be a dream come true, and I am thankful I have the desire to truly better the lives’ of special people, people like my mom. With diligent studying and perseverance, my dream can become my reality.
