Many people on the planet, somehow, make a difference in life. Scientist and Engineers change the world by inventing new things that help the human race to progress, save lives, and to make life better for all of us. The thing I would most love to do is to be an Mechanical engineer, and doing what I love I could make new engines for all types of vehicles. It could also lead to life-like artificial limbs, which would make those who lost limbs feel good about themselves, but there are steps needed to be taken before I reach this goal.

The lofty goal of changing the world by becoming a Mechanical engineer, and inventing the many things that would change the world would require for me to first become a Mechanical engineer. I intend to do that by attending and graduating the University of Pittsburgh’s Mechanical engineering program, but concentrating my major in mechanical systems and controls to make new engines. Then I will study human anatomy and physiology at a university to be certified to make new types of artificial limbs. Then I would get two jobs. One job with a company who builds engines, and the other with a company that builds artificial limbs. Then by then getting experience doing these things I could invent new types of engines and artificial limbs with the extra money left over from expenses. I would then soon change the world.

In conclusion, becoming a Mechanical engineer isn’t just what I would love to do, it’s what I want to be. I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh’s Mechanical engineering program this fall. I am going to be a Sophomore at Pitt. I am so close to realizing my goal and my dreams.
