My greatest yen is to be a pioneer in the world of Public Health Policy. Recent studies abroad at Hebrew University in Israel, which is in the top three rankings for healthcare innovation, and Cuba, also known for having one of the best healthcare systems worldwide, have further expanded my horizons of international healthcare methodologies.
As a US native, I am determined to make my mark in health and child services policy research. Not only do I want to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in investigative research on health reform, cost-effective health programs that reduce health disparities, and insurance providers issues, I also hope to be an innovator in combining advanced medical breakthroughs with health policy resolutions to create better preventive services. Similar to successful private companies, I want to collaborate multiple disciplines and encourage doctor meditation time for problem solving.
My current objective is obtaining my MS and Ph.D. in Public Health Policy. I am applying and want to move to Washington, D.C., to attend George Washington University (GW) School of Public Health. I dream of becoming alumni of G.W.. At this Institute, I believe I can gain such eclectic amounts of knowledge due to their great reputation, layers of influential connections, and history of in-depth research and publications.
Good health is something that everyone wants to achieve at the highest level, but only a portion do. I want to participate in implementing and evaluating effective policies that encourage the population to live a healthier lifestyle.
