Music has always been a huge part of my life from the very beginning. In high school I realized that the thing I wanted to do the most was teach young people the art of music. I want to help them uncover the expressive talent that they have. Nothing touches the heart more than music and sometimes it has the exquisite power of changing hearts. To be able to harness that power and teach others as well makes my heart sing with excitement!
I’m coming up on my first year of college and I couldn’t be more excited. I am finally starting to make my dream a reality. But as we all know it’s pricey and I don’t have the funds to go to my dream school. So I’m going to a local school with a fast growing music program. I’m excited to contribute to the rapid growth of the program and I hope to leave an impact on all those I meet. I’m looking forward to being surrounded by musicians like me.
Music has made me who I am today. It’s a part of me and that’s why I want to help others let it be a part of them. Music is one of the most influential forces in the world. It can soften the toughest souls, bring tears to the coldest eyes, and bring messages that no words can describe. Music has helped me find and express myself so I want to do that same thing for others.
