Medicine has always interested me, knowing you have the ability to help heal and relive the physical pain of others amazes me. In addition, sports have also been a passion of mine, due to the fact that it taught me how to overcome adversity in situations that seemed insurmountable. So why not combine both of my passions and make a career out of it. This is why I’ve decided to pursue a career as a sports medicine physician. Choosing this career will gives me the joy of doing something I love.
I once heard a man say “if you have a dream and it isn’t bigger than yourself then something is wrong with your dream.” This is why I hope to help others by passing the knowledge that I’ve been taught by holding events that gives health tips for all ages no matter if they’re an athlete or not. Your health and well being is very important. So if given the tools and opportunity to stop an illness that you could contract in the future, by gaining knowledge from a few tips and pieces of information, it may not only change a person’s life but save it in the long run.
In order to make this goal a reality I’ve set a plan in place and steps to take, which include earning my Associates Degree in a year and a half, my masters , going to medical school , and earn the necessary credentials in order to pursue this career.
