Looking into my future I choose on what would be best for my future, not with what my dream job would be. My current major is international business for I am certain to excel myself to get a job after my college years. Although ever since I was young I have always fancied different forms of art. I taught myself how to draw, paint, sculpt, and shoot photography; I even taught myself how to do graphic design. The thing I enjoy the most though is theatrical makeup. For over a year I have watched SYFY programs such as the television show Face off and watched videos off of YouTube to teach myself this form of art. For over a year I have excelled my art ability with the illusions art has compared to the human shape. With theatrical makeup I create things I love most in the world which is fictional characters; such as elves, aliens, and other types of monsters. I feel as if theatrical makeup brings the fantasy world to life. And although I know this job would not have much of an impact to our world besides giving people a new favorite character in a movie or show. I feel like it can give people a sense of confidence for all those people who don’t have that access to the years of schooling that most of those theatrical artist have. If I pursued in this career I would want the world to be inspired by my self-teaching.
