If I could earn a living doing what I love most, I would sing the gospel and spread God’s love to encourage and uplift others all around the world. I’ve been singing gospel music since the young age of eight years old and have grown to love the music because it is uplifting and inspiring. Growing up as Christian knowing God and having a relationship with him was very important in my household. My mother and father instilled in me the values of Christianity and how important God was in my life. Those values are still a part of me today and I carry them everywhere I go. We live in a world and society today where God is not as important as he should be in our everyday lives and many individuals do not even know him. When I think about that it saddens me because knowing God and having a relationship with him is an amazing thing that everyone should be a part of. I would love to spread God’s love through ministering gospel music for all to hear. Being a living witness to how gospel music changed my life I can only imagine what it could do for others. This world we live in today is cold with many people out for themselves or what they can gain from the next person. Gospel music is an escape from the negative and evil in this world, and it provides comfort, healing, peace, love, and joy to the soul.
