I always knew I wanted to run a company or own my own business but never once did I ever take the time to ask myself what I wanted to be marketing or selling to my peers. I absolutely love shoes and the variety of options we have to choose from. You can wear sandals, sneakers, wedges, stilettos, slippers, and, my personal favorite, boots. I wear an 11 so shoes aren’t the easiest thing for me to shop for but who doesn’t love a challenge?
After I realized I wanted to sell shoes for a living, I had to figure out how to set my store apart from the rest since there are so many shoe stores all over the place. I decided that I wanted to sell all shoe sizes but cater to the with “larger than average” feet. I think it would be a major blessing because whenever I go shoe shopping, I have noticed that the brands that consistently have my size are for old ladies or at least look like they’re for them.
In conclusion, I only have 2 goals set to make my dream come true and they are to graduate from college with everything I need to know to start and run a successful business. Secondly, I have to keep my passion for shoes alive. I don’t want to get the wrong motives and go crazy over money. That’s no fun at all. Thank you for reading.
