If I could earn a living doing what I love most I would create computer programs. These programs would help people with disabilities such as blindness, deafness, or other learning issues. Even from a young age, I have been interested in computers. I frequently helped my teachers with their computers. I am now majoring in computer science at Sam Houston State University. With the knowledge I gain from college, I hope to change the world of computers.
After I graduate from college I hope to get a job with a video game company as a programmer. This will allow to learn what it takes to actually make a computer program that I can sell and make money from. After learning what I need to know, I plan to work with some of my high school friends to start our own video game company. This in itself will change the world by bringing new and fun entertainment to people of all ages.
After making several games and becoming a great program designer, I want to expand our company to create other types of programs. I hope to make programs that will help those with disabilities to use their computers more efficiently.
This is my dream and winning this scholarship will help it to become reality. Thank you for considering me for this scholarship.
