My dream job would be to work for the Walt Disney Company, not just as a regular “cast member” though, my dream is to be the CEO. I’ve always had a passion for Disney and ever since my first trip to Disneyland when I two years old, I’ve been addicted.

The atmosphere of Disney is what makes the difference for me, I can literally feel the magic and happiness in the air, it’s contagious. I want to be a part of creating that magic, in fact, I want to be the biggest part.

I have recently started pursuing my dream, just this past week I applied for the Disney College Program, a unique internship where participants work in one of the parks or resorts and take classes at Disney University to learn about the company’s unique way of doing things, for example marketing and public relations. It is a very competitive internship, but I made it past the first two stages and am now on the final stage of the application. If I am offered the position I will be moving to Florida for five months to take the first step in accomplishing my dream.

After the Disney College Program I plan to come back to my school, Riverside Community College – Norco, and also apply for a “Professional Internship” here in California at the Disneyland Resort. I am planning on transferring to either UC Irvine or Cal State Fullerton and continuing to work at Disneyland while I complete my education.
