When asked what you would like to do in the world, with yourself, and for other people; most say change the world.
I however hesitate at that response, because I know it doesn’t happen all at once. I say, “change the world:One person at a time.”

To obtain my goal of changing the world “one person at a time”, I would peruse an active career in Music Therapy. An interesting occupation with the power to move others like you have never seen before. Music is my passion and it moves so many others. If music were alive it would be immortal because it will never die… living on forever. Inspiring me to make others days better. Inspiring me to look inside myself and lift others through song. Through the music I will help my patients reconsider choices made or choices they will make that can potentially hurt them or their loved ones. Fighting me all the way they will be challenged to regain their strength in life. I will try to inspire them to go out and make a difference in the world, like music has done for their lives. After all, Music is universal. It is the path to ones soul, the light to ones eyes, and the beat to which my heart beats. If I could earn a living making music mean something, everything, I really would change the world.
Music Therapy heals “one person at a time” starting with it’s teacher.
