If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would be helping people. I want to be able to make others realize their true purpose in life and to not give up on themselves. My first accomplished goal to making my dream come true is going to college. Being the first in my family to attend college, there were many obstacles in my way. However, my vision for the future is very clear. I am hoping to obtain my doctorate’s degree in Psychiatry. I love helping people in any way I can and to able to make that into something I can do for the rest of my life, that’s my only wish. Too many times, people suffer in silence because of the stigma put on mental illness. No one should have to feel like that and I want to make a difference in someone’s life. With psychology, you can help rethink life and take on a different approach in order to become a productive member of society. If I can learn and understand what causes a person to behave or think a certain way, it would be my job to help them realize this. The more aware a person is of their behaviors and actions, the better they could become at trying to fix it. That’s what I would love to do for a living.
