Fourteen years ago was the beginning of an adventure that would build on the foundation my parents had established. My schooling has honed my skills, increased my knowledge and has revealed my natural strengths, gifts and abilities, allowing me to pursue an amazing dream.
One activity I am involved in has really helped shape my career goals. This activity is the Lakes Region EMS Explorers program. Through this program I became a Certified First Responder. I also completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program. These courses have provided me with a spring board to pursue a medical career, helping me realize that the medical field is more than a passing interest…it is a passion!
I am enrolled for this next year (2014-2015) as a college sophomore at Trinity Bible College. I felt that God was calling me to be a part of the mission’s field when I was 15 and Trinity is continuing to help me fulfill this dream. Once I am finished at Trinity (2016) I plan on transferring and finishing my Nursing degree. This way I can serve overseas as a medical missionary to fulfill all of my passions in one job! This would be my dream job! I could save lives medically and spiritually. If I am helping others then I in return am helping myself to be a better person. That is what I strive for in life.
