Ever since I was in the seventh grade, my dream has always been to become a cardiologist. I think of myself as a loving, caring, and passionate person so it is only right that I deal with matters of the heart. I believe that I have the skill set to bring happiness to my patients. I want to be the one to deliver the good news of a loved one being awake and doing well to the anxious family members sitting in the waiting room. I do not think that I will be able to change the world all at one time. I believe that as long as I touch one heart a day, then I am fulfilling my purpose in life.
I am currently on track of fulfilling this dream because I am a nursing major and I am also on the pre-med track at Emory University. I plan on graduating and going straight into an MD/PhD program so that I may attain my degree as soon as possible and begin my work in the field. I look forward to meeting new people and having them change my life while I also work to change theirs.
