With the freedom to spend my life doing anything, I would start an organization which works to improve health care all around the world. Through various volunteering experiences, I’ve learned that two of the largest obstacles to providing adequate care in many parts of the world are lack of proper medical supplies and misinformation. This organization would collect unused or donated supplies and distribute them to the many amazing organizations which are working with underserved populations. Also, I would like to support and participate in the development of simpler, less expensive methods of providing quality care so that there is not so much of a dependence on costly supplies. The amount of money that someone has should not dictate the type of care they have access to, and I would like to use my time to help this become true.

Many health problems can be avoided with proper knowledge. I have spent time in India teaching people how to avoid or react to common illnesses, and saw personally the positive effects that this sort of information can have. My organization would set up classes or meetings to teach people about lifestyle changes and habits which can prevent them from having to suffer from very preventable health problems. Showing one individual these methods can in turn help countless others. When people are not spending time fighting their bodies, they can live happier lives and focus on fulfilling their dreams.
