I believe when a person picks a career it should be something that they enjoy and not only satisfy them external but also internally. Your career or occupation should make you proud of what you are doing and accomplishing with others and yourself. My dream job is to become a detention counselor for young teenagers and kids that are on the wrong path and locked up in juvenile programs.
My dream job consist of being there for are younger generation which I believe would really change the world. They are the adults of the future. Young troubled teens are facing a lot of problems these days and most of the time they just need a shoulder to lean on. They may not have had their parents around to show them right from wrong or show them love and care so they lash out in violent ways. It’s not their fault I want to become the best role model I can to them, and show them that they can make it no matter what obstacles they have faced or will face. I know I might not be able to get through to every kid but if I can touch one I know that I have made a difference in the world.
In fall of 2014 I will be attending Bethune Cook man University as a transfer student and my major will either be criminal justice or psychology. I plan to graduate from there with my bachelor degree. I hope to take a lot of interns and put in community service before I graduate with all types of different places where they need help. To fosters homes , detention centers and alternative schools.
