The thing I would do that I love the most that would change the world is I would love to utilize my knowledge and experience and continue my education to become an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to help people with Pregnancy as well as Infertility/ health and wellness issues and makes it more affordable.
I believe that there are three cornerstones of a successful career in medicine:
• A love for learning in general
• A true intellectual curiosity about medicine in particular
• A strong and genuine desire to help others.
As a physician you have an opportunity to help others. Wanting to help others and enjoying helping others are necessary attributes. This is something that cannot be taught. A famous Chinese proverb says ” that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Well the same is true with the road to becoming a physician.
The world today is definitely not a paradise. Hunger, abuse, poverty, pollution, and violence are all too common. Granted, the world never has been, and probably never will be perfect, but that means there’s lots of room for improvement!
In conclusion, to be happy and earn a living doing what you love, you have to be doing something you not only enjoy, but admire. You have to be able to say, at the end, wow, that’s pretty cool.
