There is no better reward in life than knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in someone else’s life. Thinking back over the years, the people who stand out in my mind, as having made that difference in my life, are my teachers; both past and present. Teachers have an enormous responsibility to not only teach academics but also life skills, empathy, morals, character and social skills.
Being a teacher gives one the opportunity to make a real difference. A teacher is changing the world, one student at a time. I understand that to be a teacher is to mold and guide our future generation. It will be my responsibility to lead by example and guide my students in such a way that our world is a better place because of it. I look forward to the day when I will be able to use all that I have learned to positively influence the young minds sitting in my classroom. I will strive to make learning fun and addicting to my students. I want my students to look forward to Mondays because they are so excited to see what wonderful things they will learn. I will do whatever possible to ensure that my students will leave my classroom as confident, intelligent scholars.
I know for certain that I will be the teacher that will make a positive difference in the lives of my students. I will do whatever necessary to help guide my students to become the next outstanding generation.
