If I could earn a living doing what I love most it would be volunteering. It all started when my friend invited me to a PADS event during Christmas. The event was held through her church and I was not too familiar with it. After that experience, I have been volunteering ever since. There are different events that my church holds and I feel volunteering not only makes a difference in someone’s life but it also makes a difference in yours. It is such a rewarding thing to help people that need it the most. There are so many different ways that can make a huge impact in someone’s life. These things may include; food, clothing, birthday cards, toys, etc. I enjoy spending time with the people that I help and being a support system and role model for them. Volunteering would change the world because it will show that kindness and respect for others can change someone’s life for the better. If everyone would help out doing small things in their communities, it would greatly make the world a better place. There is not one person who doesn’t need love or kindness in their lives. I strongly feel that the world would be a better place if people would volunteer and help out those in need. A small act of kindness by one individual is all it would take to make a difference to someone else. We all need help in some ways and volunteering is a great way to help others.
