When you’re a little kid, adults tend to ask you one of the most important questions in life.- “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I’m grown now and the answer to that question still remains the same as it did ten years ago.
I’ve always had a passion for helping others. There are many ways to help others but I’ve decided to become a doctor; an Oncologist to be more specific. Not only would I be helping others, I would be working for what I love.
Doctors are known as the people who save lives. I want to be more than that, I don’t want to just save lives. I know cancer is not the only disease out there but I would like to be the person who can help a little more even if it’s just hearing someone out. I want to give hope. That’s how I plan on changing the world because a little bit of hope can help a lot.
In order for me to accomplish this dream I will need to complete my first bachelor’s degree at a college. During my junior year I will take the MCAT, which is a test I need to take to get accepted into medical school. After completing 4 years of medical school I will take my residency which will take approximately 4 years. I will work two shift jobs if I have to, I will study everyday and I will not give up.
