Whether I was dancing to whatever song blasted on the radio, doing a Tyra Banks catwalk across the living room, or enacting Whitney Huston for the evening, one thing was for sure, I was constantly looking for an audience. I had quite the Imagination for a child. I have been a performer all my life and I hope to continue to be one as a film actress.
Acting is by far the most intriguing, complicated, and worthwhile profession to occupy in my personal opinion. The art first captured my attention one lonely summer going to the fifth grade. Since that moment I have researched, studied, and explored different ways to obtain this occupation. From my extensive inquiry I have devised a plan that I hope will so turn my dreams into reality. The first part of my journey has already been completed. This included gaining experience through acting classes and plays before entering higher education. The second step is now earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in college. While there I hope to build my resume and earn the necessary credentials to be considered by producers and talent managers upon graduation.
This dream can change the world. I can become the model for young girls who believe that obtaining a far stretched goal is impossible. By proving that a first-generation college student from a low socioeconomic background can go to college and reach her goals, then I will influence that way the younger generation pursue their dreams.
