If I could earn a living doing what I loved the most, I would love to work with children and youth in a religious setting. I would want to help them grow in their faith, learn about other faith traditions, and show them how to sustainably live on planet Earth. I want to work with children and youth because people don’t realize that this age group is capable and willing to form their own opinions and beliefs. Children and youth are the future with the ability to change the world for the better. I want to give them the tools to succeed. This would help to change the world because promoting dialogue about different faith traditions and learning how to be sustainable at a young age will lead to adults that are compassionate about the planet and each other. A specific goal that I need to take to make this dream a reality would be to graduate with my Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Sustainability. Another goal that I have to set is that I need to find a place that would allow me to envision and work with my passions of religion and sustainable life, with maybe some writing on the side.
