Writing is my passion. It always has been and always will be, but it’s not like any other type of writing. Some say it’s poetry. Others say my poetry is a story. I say that I’m writing letters. When I’m writing, it’s because I’ve seen something in this world that’s simply not right and needs to be changed and I know that it’s up to these people to change it, so I write a letter to them. When I write, it’s because people refuse to hear people’s cries for help, or maybe they’re deaf and don’t realize that they could change someone’s life, so I write a letter to them. When I write, it’s because my heart is aching because my struggle is real and I don’t know how to deal with it, but I know there is another person out there who’s going through it too, so I want to raise applause to him for having the strength to not end it today, and having the hope for a better tomorrow, and the courage to stand up and be a better person than he was yesterday. I want to raise applause to him, but I’m not sure who he is, so I write a letter to him. I want him to know that he is not alone, and I am one person who cares. To let everyone know this would be a dream. I started out trying to write a scholarship essay, but I ended up writing another letter.
