Just one smile, that’s all it takes to make me happy. Never did it ever occur to me growing up that seeing a smile, just one smile from someone, would bring me as much joy as it has today. It is now what I love doing the most in the world, making people happy by helping them, and if it were to be something that could earn me a living, then even better. A smile is not just simply a curve of the mouth or a movement of a body or a simple happy emotion that your brain creates through the body’s chemicals but it is a movement itself, a power. It is something that can change and transform not just an individual but the mood around the individual, the atmosphere, the people around the individual, and perhaps even the world itself. Yet, a smile itself is such a simple thing to create, to procure, and to achieve. As it is with my goal in life, to be happy and make people smile, I will want the same for others in my own community and be the good mentor I know I can be. I will start one step at a time to be involved and make that difference as I have now. I will go through college and I will graduate. With the money I make and the free time I have, I will help others to help myself do what I love, bring smiles to the people.
