I would spend my life investing in those who care for our world’s orphans and vulnerable children. Training those valued carers to identify behavioral problems, emotional disturbances, physical ailments and learning disabilities would help those children to receive quick and correct care, most likely changing the trajectory of their lives. A child growing up on the Autism Spectrum without any knowledge of the disorder or extra support designed especially for him may assume the rest of his life will be the same as his childhood; isolated, anxiety inducing and hopeless. If an educated carer was able to spot the hallmark signs of ASD, the child may be able to receive relevant care, allowing the child to grow much for healthfully. This may also help to break the cycle of generations in and out of orphanages and foster care.
