I have always thought that work is not worth doing unless you enjoy it. That is why my dream is to somehow make my living through creating things, and through telling stories. For as long as I can remember, I have loved both writing and acting. I love creating my own worlds and scenarios simply using words; I also love taking the words of others and interpreting them in a way I can express on a stage. I am not entirely sure of my exact path just yet, but I know I will have an infinitely better chance if I am educated and have a degree in my desired field. I plan on double majoring in Theatre and English with an emphasis in creative writing. My passion and desire to make a living doing these things is due in part to the exposure I have had to different art forms throughout my life and the effect they have had on me. There have been countless times I have read a novel or a poem, heard a song, watched a play or a film, or seen a painting and been incredibly inspired by it. My greatest dream is to someday be a part of something that will bring that same inspiration to others. I want people to be affected by my work; I want my work to make them laugh, or cry, or feel something, because emotion is what brings us together as people.
